उत्तराखंड में अब आंचल दूध खरीदना महंगा भी हो गया है। उत्तराखंड दुग्ध सहकारी फेडरेशन ने आंचल दूध के दाम में 2 रुपये प्रति किलो की बढ़ोतरी भी कर दी है।
नई दरें हरिद्वार व नैनीताल जिले में लागू हो चुकी हैं, जबकि देहरादून में बढ़ी हुई कीमतें 1 जून से प्रभावी होंगी।
दुग्ध विकास विभाग के सहायक निदेशक जयदीप अरोड़ा के मुताबिक, पैकेजिंग में इस्तेमाल होने वाली पॉलीथिन के दाम बढ़ने के कारण दूध की कीमतों में इजाफा भी करना पड़ा है।
बताया जा रहा है कि आंचल दूध की सबसे ज्यादा खपत मैदानी जिलों में भी होती है, इसलिए फिलहाल 3 जिलों में ही नई दरें लागू भी की गई हैं।
प्रदेश में दुग्ध सहकारी समितियों के जरिए करीब 56 हजार पशुपालकों से दूध एकत्र भी किया जाता है और वर्तमान में रोजाना लगभग 2.40 लाख लीटर दूध का उपार्जन भी हो रहा है।
